Home / solved: setup was unable to create a new system partition Solved: setup was unable to create a new system partition 20/08/2021 I received two computers, & they are both having identical problems. I am booting from USB và I see the hard drive, but I get this message "Setup was unable lớn create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. Searching this there were multiple people that had success with using the disk part utility. I ran the utility twice, on BOTH computers and I was still getting the same errors. You watching: Solved: setup was unable to create a new system partitionI was getting this error message:I went inkhổng lồ disk part và asked for disk attributes và I got that my disk had boot disk phối to lớn no.How vị I change this? I rephối my bquả táo, and I removed all devices from the boot sequence except for my HardDrive sầu & my USB that contains Windows 7.Other notes: With no usb in the computer the computer complains about bootmgr missing, but this is useless because I want lớn bởi a clean install anyway. windows-7 windows Share Improve this question Follow edited Jul 29 "14 at 2:35 EGHDK asked Jul 28 "14 at 18:41 EGHDKEGHDK 2,35777 gold badges2222 silver badges2929 bronze badges 15 | Show 10 more comments 7 Answers 7 Active sầu Oldest Votes 28 This sucks.I found my solution after about another 5 wasted hours of my life.I stumbled upon this "fix" on MS"s technet blogI saw a comment: I had this error on RTM with the combination of Intel 310SSD & Kingston DataTraveler Elite 3.0 USB stick.Could it be? This particular USB stichồng being the issue? (I have 3 of these). I tried it on another. Same issue. Took another generic 4GB staples usb from lượt thích 5 years ago... worked fine.Kingston. Then find "gparted" và try khổng lồ use it for partitioning the drive sầu.That might give an initial partition table và partition, which may help in getting things going.Alternative sầu with Ubuntu;xuất hiện a terminal with CTRL+Alt+T (works in at least 13.10 and 14.04).$ lsblk should display a menu of all attached disks and their partitions. USB-stuff might not appear if you have sầu unmounted it/them (turns off power). Alternatively use gparted above và find the /dev/sdx -similar-looking name of the disk.then do$ subởi vì dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdx bs=512 count=1which will WIPE the first block (increase count for more) of the disk, which should be the partition table.double checked the commands ;-) Share Improve sầu this answer Follow edited Jul 28 "14 at 19:22 answered Jul 28 "14 at 18:47 HannuHannu 7,28933 gold badges1717 silver badges3333 bronze badges 0 Add a bình luận | 2 Just also managed khổng lồ spover hours fiddling with Windows 7 & a Kingston DT R3.0 G2 32GB USB3 stichồng.After picking up some cheap PNY stichồng everything worked like a charm.Rethành viên having issues a while ago while trying lớn put together a MacOSX 10.9 USB installer using a Kingston stiông xã. After I unplugged it it was fine. Be sure to allocate at least 48 MiB; around 24 MiB are user out of default 100 MiB, but there should be some room left for updates. It may also be a good idea to align both partitions on 1 MiB to 16 MiB boundary depending on SSD erase bloông xã kích cỡ, if applicable.Format the boot partition as NTFS and be sure to label it “System Reserved”. When using Unix command-line tools, one may need to manually specify 512 byte sector kích thước and 4096 byte cluster form size (or 8 sectors per cluster); be also sure to kiểm tra whether the partition type id in partition table is 7, which stands for NTFS and alượt thích.Install the master boot record and bootloader — either from a live Windows installation or from the installer itself.X:> diskpart # Run diskpart.select disk 0select partition 1active # Mark partition as active.assign letter=BexitX:> bootootsect /nt60 B: /mbr # Install boot record.Exit the installer (if running it) and reboot the machine. Simply refreshing the partition danh mục in installer will not suffice.Start the Windows installer again and select an existing root partition or create one now alongside your boot partition which should be listed as being of type “System” (rather than “Basic” for regular volumes). Upon continuing, the installer should use that boot partition automatically instead of trying to create it.See more: Phần Mềm Quản Lý Khách Hàng Miễn Phí Tieng Viet, Phần Mềm Quản Lý Bán Hàng Miễn PhíThat should lead to successfull installation.
